On St. Kitts
and Nevis, a two island nation separated by a two mile waterway, nothing
may be built taller than the tallest palm tree. Nature reins supreme on
these islands. St. Kitts is 68 square miles of volcanic mountains and rain
forest surrounded by fields of sugar cane, while circular Nevis at 36
square miles has a central peak that runs into rolling green hills
decorated with botanical gardens and a pink-sand hem.
