Hotel Restaurants and Bars
Even though attire is casual during the day, resort restaurants require dry and covered swimwear and no bare feet for meal service. After 6.30 pm the resort adopts a resort casual dress code as outlined below.

Seebreeze and Buccaneer’s Restaurants:
Long pants, stylish jeans, dresses, skirts and dress shorts are permitted. Dress shoes/dress sandals are allowed (No flip flops or tennis shoes in the evening). Short or long sleeved shirts (no T-shirts or Tank top/sleeveless shirts)
Nicole’s Restaurant and Manager Cocktail Parties:
Long pants, dresses or skirts. Dress shirts (long or short sleeves), dress shoes or dress sandals

Dining

The Verandah offers a range of dining experiences in three exciting restaurants, operated under the watchful eye of Executive Chef Ronaldo Collantes, a native of the Philippines. All three restaurants are centered in an expansive, centrally located activities complex on The Common, overlooking the pool and manicured grounds. It?s a meeting spot for old friends as well as a place to make new ones.

SeaBreeze, the resort?s main restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers a wide range of buffet-served choices that are sure to please guests of all ages. The lovely, open-air dining room with an outdoor feeling. Seabreeze will be offering alternative a la carte dining and themed buffet evenings.

Nicole?s, the fine-dining restaurant, offers a blend of stylishly presented, Caribbean-inflected cuisine. A cozy ambience furnishings to create a welcoming, Caribbean feel. (There is a $25 surcharge per person.)

Casual and fun, the Buccaneer serves lighter, family-friendly fare with an alternative a la carte menu, as well as afternoon tea from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily.


Lounges & Bars
Guests will get that relaxed, on-island feeling from the moment they arrive at The Verandah, and are welcomed with a refreshing fruit punch at the centrally located Lobby Bar.

A total of four bars will keep Verandah guests cool with a wide range of signature cocktails, top-shelf liquor, wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages.

Guests can get into the island spirit at the beachside Rasta Bar, a funky little shack just off the main lobby building. It offers a full complement of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in a totally relaxed and beachy setting.

Guests who don?t wish to stray far from the pool can cool off at the poolside bar, outfitted in natural stone, in keeping with the surroundings.

By night, lively international-style music and entertainment will keep the fun flowing and your toes tapping after dark.

The expansive and centrally located main lounge also overlooks the pool and winding, limestone-walled pathways of the Common. It?s the place where guests can meet and socialize, with fun and refreshment on tap for both daytime and night, with décor that blends roughhewn dark pine with sleek granite.

Perched above Lover?s Beach is the relaxing Beach Bar and Grill, offering killer views of the entire cove, light lunch, snacks, beer and late snacks and beverages. It?s the ideal to pull up a barstool, kick off your flip-flops and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Bar hours are 10 - 4pm - Bar; 12 - 4 pm Grill and Bar; 10pm - 12am Grill and Bar.

Hotel Activities and Entertainment
The Verandah Resort & Spa caters to all ages. Verandah lies adjacent to a National Park and its grounds incorporate marked nature trails, two soft white-sand beaches and tranquil waters on a protected covelike bay - just perfect for swimming or snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters. The resort?s expansive, shimmering free-form pool is the island?s largest, an excellent spot for lounging in the sun or enjoying a cooling dip.

The Verandah offers non-motorized water sports, including windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boats, and hobie-style catamaran sailing. On land, guests can partake in tennis and table tennis, or enjoy the spacious, well-equipped fitness center. Younger guests are sure to enjoy fun and games at the beautiful Kid?s Club. Three palate-pleasing restaurants invite guests to savor familiar and new cuisines, while four bars and lounges keep visitors refreshed both day and night. The expansive Spa Tranquility offers a host of soothing treatments.

Guests can also enjoy a short walk to the nearby historic Devil?s Bridge attraction for excellent photo opportunities. The uninhabited island sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island also are accessible by a short boat ride. Sightseeing, dining and shopping in historic St. John?s are only 30 minutes from the resort by car, as is Antigua?s international airport.

Hotel Children Information
Kid’s Club
Kids will have a ball at the spacious and beautiful Kid’s Club, designed as an ideal hideout and fun getaway for potty-trained children ages 4 to 11, daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. This beautiful facility offers lots of room for kids to spread out, with an expansive, fenced-in outdoor play area shaded by large trees, as well as an exciting playscape and a sheltered back porch outdoors. Inside, the club is like a cozy undersea haven – surrounded by a beautiful and lifelike floor-to-ceiling mural that will make kids feel like they’ve walked into an aquarium! Entertained and cared for by the trained counselors, the kids will have a blast making crafts, playing games, or just enjoying some fun, free play on our safe and squishy rubber-mat floors. The comfy nap room is a cozy, quiet place where little ones can peacefully snooze. An onsite kitchenette and private bathrooms round out the Kid’s Club facilities.
