The Hawksbill Beach Resort has a beautiful shoreline location. Facing out toward the picturesque rocky islet that gives the resort its name is a delicately scalloped line of no less than four soft white sand beaches, one of which is clothing optional. Clustered around the beaches and extending back into the resort's 37 acres of landscaped tropical gardens and grounds are a variety of inviting accommodations, looking out over the palms to the sea.

Those desiring a full panoramic view of the sea and shore can stay in the colonial-style Great House, which lies on a modest peninsula between two of the resort's crescent strands. Add to this a fine Continental-style restaurant, a full range of activities, regular nightly entertainment, and an eye-catching colonial sugar mill housing an on-site boutique.

ACCOMMODATION:

Hawksbill offers a choice of different guest accommodations, all decorated in the cool colours and clean lines of West Indian style. All 111 units at the 37-acre property on the west coast of Antigua are just a few paces from the beach. All the lovely accommodations at the resort are cooled by the ever-present sea breeze, with a little help from ceiling fans.

Standard Garden Bungalow - Garden view rooms are located on Sea Grapes Beach and have limited sea views. They have two twin beds or a king bed, ceiling fan. Three in each group. (sleep 2 adults and 1 child).

Superior Seaview rooms - located in the two storey main buildings set back from the beach amongst the resort's landscaped grounds. Interconnecting Rooms available. All have ceiling fan, two doubles or one king bed, sitting area and balcony or terrace. (sleep 2 adults and 2 children).

Superior Seaview Bungalow - on the Sea Grapes Beach, facilities are the same as the Superior Seaview rooms, but smaller. 2 or 3 or 4 and 6 in a group (2 or 3 sea view back 2 or 3 are garden)(sleep 2 adults)

Beachfront Club with A/C - Caribbean style cottages located either between Sea Grapes Beach and Honeymoon Cove or adjacent to Royal Palm Beach. These rooms are air-conditioned with two double beds or one king bed and telephone. (2 in each building) (Royal Palm Beach Club rooms sleep 2 adults and 2 children, interconnecting rooms available. Honeymoon Cove Club Rooms sleep 2 adults).

AMENITIES:

Sunfish sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing, paddle boats, water-skiing are all available, and with the exception of water-skiing, are all completely free of charge. Tennis is also free. Evening entertainment encompasses a wide variety of musical events, including steel band, limbo dancers, and calypsonian, as well as fashion shows, cocktail parties, and the regular evening happy hour

Tamarind Tree: An informal open-air restaurant serving local and international cuisine, table service and buffet style.

Sea Grapes Bar and Grill: For refreshing drinks and light snacks by the beach.

II Vigento Su Mare: A la carte pasta specialities, splendid lobster, reservations required as only open 2-4 times a week.

Beach Barbecue: A weekly Beach Barbecue dinner is held on the beach. Offers variety of barbecue specials.

Tamarind Bar: Friendly informal bar with live entertainment some evenings.

Dress code: At Hawksbill the dress code for dinner is smart-casual, and men must wear collared shirts and long trousers in all bars and restaurants in the evening. Please feel free to wear t-shirts, shorts and beach wraps at breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and at the beach barbecue.
